New windows open beside the focused one by default; placement at the end is configurable. Stacks and tabbed columns group windows; native fullscreen windows keep macOS behavior. Default scrolling widths are **25%, 35%, 65% and 75%**. Four-finger window swipes start enabled, with adjustable finger count, direction and sensitivity in Controls → Trackpad. Native drag/drop uses **Fn** by default; edges insert, with configurable center behavior. The website demo shows the scrolling strip and simplifies native dragging. Interior scrolling columns can center. The first and last columns remain pinned to the strip edges. macOS can retain narrow offscreen remnants, usually masked by Glidro in focused scrolling layouts. The app pages are **Layout, Controls, Apps, Settings and Help**. Apps includes or excludes apps from tiling; fixed strip slots are not a current feature. Settings apply instantly. Grant Glidro Accessibility first, then follow the engine access step if onboarding requests it. ## Default keyboard shortcuts - Focus: Option+H/J/K/L or Option+arrows. - Move window: Option+Shift with the same directional keys. - Cycle scrolling width: Option+R. - Full width: Option+F. - Center interior column: Option+C; edge columns stay pinned. - Stack left/right: Option+] / Option+[. - Pop out right/left: Option+Shift+] / Option+Shift+[. - Tabbed column: **Option+D**. - Next width preset / smaller preset: **Control+Option+Shift+= / -**. - Taller/shorter: Control+Option+= / -. - Equalize heights: Control+Option+0. - Next display: Option+N. - Float/tile: Control+Option+T. Custom bindings take priority. Missing actions receive shipped defaults when their keys are free. Controls → Keyboard supports multiple bindings and non-US layouts. ## Extra controls Option+mouse wheel navigates windows. Native left/right edge dragging changes column width. Optional focus follows the pointer. Help can copy app and macOS details for a support report. ## Activation, privacy and recovery Creem provides checkout, receipts and licenses. The private app download link is delivered after payment. Paid activation/validation uses the network and can send the license key, random Keychain device ID, device proof/public key, activation ID and computer name at activation. The app has no usage analytics or tracking. A signed offline lease lasts up to 14 days before online validation. Contact Glidro support to move an active license to another Mac. Unexpected engine exits get up to five recovery attempts in a 120-second window, then require manual Resume. Intentional Pause stays paused. The private app download link is delivered after payment. Glidro checks its signed update feed for new releases. Supported automation: `macglide://action/` and `GlidroEngine send-cmd`. ## Guides and links - [Setup](/setup) · [Privacy](/privacy) · [Terms](/terms) - [PaperWM for Mac](/paperwm-for-mac) · [Niri for Mac](/niri-for-mac) - [Scrolling explained](/what-is-a-scrolling-window-manager) · [Best scrolling managers](/best-scrolling-window-managers-for-mac) - [vs yabai](/glidro-vs-yabai) · [vs AeroSpace](/glidro-vs-aerospace) · [vs Amethyst](/glidro-vs-amethyst) · [vs Rectangle](/glidro-vs-rectangle) · [vs OmniWM](/glidro-vs-omniwm) · [vs Loop](/glidro-vs-loop) Support: [Glidro support](mailto:support@glidro.app).
